School board approved replacement of the parent notification program in use, TextCaster, with an enhanced system called SchoolReach with apps which can be put on Iphones. Present features are for Pinto Alerts with California R-1 School District emergency information, school closings, early dismissals and event reminders sent as email or text messages directly to mobile phones, wireless PDAs or pagers.

Registration for all children who plan to attend kindergarten this fall at High Point R-III school will be on Wednesday, May 1. Children registering must be five years old on or before July 31. Registration and screening will be held at the High Point School. Parents/guardians should bring the following information to this screening: child's state-issued birth certificate, child's immunization record, child's social security number, proof of residency in the High Point School District such as rent receipt, utility bill or phone bill. If you have not already done so, please contact the school at 660-489-2213 to request an appointment time.
