The Russellville High School varsity girls golf team participated in the Osage Invitational at Dogwood Hills Wednesday, Sept. 10, where Mikala Jungmeyer carded an 84 to medal with a fifth place finish.
The Russellville High School volleyball teams hosted Chamois Sept. 4, where the JV Lady Indians captured a match win.
The California High School cross country team competed at the Linn Invitational Saturday, where several California runners garnered medals with their top finishes.
The California High School softball teams traveled to Versailles Thursday night, where both the varsity and JV Lady Pintos suffered a loss.
Russellville Baseball Russellville hosted Prairie Home Sept. 8, where the Indians captured a 10-6 win from the Panthers. Caleb Harrison recorded the win with four strikeouts. Zach Voss pitched 2.2 innings and recorded three strikeouts.
The performance the Pintos gave Friday at Riley Field was similar to last week's in that they wasted no time marking their territory and setting the tone of the game; they were focused right out of the gate and scored on each series on their way to a 55-0 conference win against the Eldon Mustangs.
The Lady Pintos hosted the California Quad Sept. 9 at the California Country Club, where California finished in second place with 196.
