The California Pinto baseball teams were on the road May 8 for their final games of the regular season, at Wardsville, where both the varsity and JV suffered a loss to Blair Oaks. California's varsity lost 2-1, while the JV lost 9-1.
The Pintos will play Southern Boone County at 4:30 p.m. Saturday in the first round of the Class 3 District 9 Baseball Tournament at Osage. The championship game is scheduled for 6 p.m. Wednesday, May 16.
