California defeats Southern Boone

California's varsity girls faced Southern Boone in round two of pool play Wednesday, Jan. 9, at the California Basketball Tournament, where the Lady Pintos defeated the Lady Eagles 44-27.

California was led by Sydney Deeken with 16 points, while Southern Boone was led by Kelly Knierim with nine.
