California FCC Holds Fundraiser for Rickman Center

Approximately 200-300 Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) churches throughout the state use Rickman Center, located south of Jefferson City off of Highway 54 at 3519 Bennett Lane, as a place for spiritual retreats and summer camps. With the winter bringing the dormant period for the center, Rickman Center is in dire need of funds. To help support the center so vital to so many churches, First Christian Church (FCC), California, held a chili/soup supper fundraiser Saturday, Dec. 4.


Volunteers who helped out at the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), California, Chili/Soup Supper Benefit for Rickman Center held Saturday, Dec. 4 at the church.


Sydney Pettigrew, left, and Rachel Longan were one of many who came out and enjoyed homemade chili and chicken noodle soup at the chili/soup dinner.
