Russellville girls

Russellville's varsity girls basketball team hosted South Callaway Dec. 6, where the Lady Indians came away with a 63-34 win. Amber Duncan and Hannah Campbell led Russellville with 18 points each. Duncan also grabbed five rebounds and had eight assists. Kennedy Volkart contributed 10 points and five rebounds. Cassandra Carter added four points.

The Lady Indians traveled to Osage Thursday, where Russellville lost 55-46 to the Lady Indians.

Duncan and Kaitlynn Siebert led Russellville with 16 points each. Duncan also had eight rebounds and Siebert had five. Volkart contributed eight points and led rebounds with 10.

Russellville hosted Tuscumbia Monday, Dec. 13, where the Lady Indians pocketed a 78-20 win.

Campbell led Russellville with 28 points. Duncan followed with 17 points, eight rebounds and six assists. Carter chipped in with 12 points.

Prairie Home boys

The Prairie Home varsity boys basketball team opened the season with a contest at the Missouri School for the Deaf at Fulton Nov. 30, where the Panthers pocketed a 60-22 win. Trever Huth led Prairie Home with 25 points, five assists and 10 rebounds. Gavin Walters followed with 20 points, five assists and eight rebounds. Tyler Loesing contributed eight points and five rebounds.

Prairie Home hosted Northwest Dec. 2, and pocketed a 43-41 win. Huth led the Panthers with 19 points and six rebounds. Dillon Loesing followed with 11 points. Walters chipped in with nine points and led rebounds with nine.

Prairie Home hosted Tuscumbia Dec. 3, where the Panthers suffered a 71-45 loss to the Lions. Walters led Prairie Home with 18 points, seven rebounds and six blocks. Huth followed with 10 points and seven rebounds.

The Panthers hosted Otterville Monday, Dec. 13, where Prairie Home lost 86-55.

Huth led the Panthers with 26 points and 10 rebounds. Walters followed with 11 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Tyler Loesing contributed 10 points, while Dillon Loesing added five.

Prairie Home girls

The Prairie Home varsity girls hosted Northwest Dec. 2, where the Lady Panthers pocketed a 50-48 win. Megan Morton led Prairie Home scoring with 18 points and six rebounds. Taylor Zey followed with 11 points, 11 rebounds and three steals. Katlynn Watson contributed 10 points and four rebounds, while Kristynn Watson had nine points.

The Lady Panthers hosted Tuscumbia Dec. 3, and defeated the Lady Lions 46-32. Zey led Prairie Home with 17 points and 15 rebounds. Morton followed with 15 points, five rebounds and five steals. Kendra Stinson chipped in with seven points and five steals.

The Lady Panthers hosted Otterville Monday, Dec. 13, where Prairie Home suffered a 49-36 loss to the Lady Eagles. Zey led the Lady Panthers with 14 points, including 10 of 13 free throws, and 12 rebounds. Morton followed with 11 pointns, four rebounds and five steals. Stinson added six points and Kirstynn Watson contributed five.
