Gary Wells to Retire as California Utilities Superintendent

Gary Wells, long-time California Utilities Superintendent, will retire on Dec. 31. On Dec. 30, from 2 - 4 p.m, there will be a punch and cake reception in the City Hall Public Meeting Room.

Full and part time, Wells has worked for the city 43 years. He began as a part time employee during the summers of 1967 and 1968.


City of California Utilities Superintendent Gary Wells will retire on Dec. 31 after more than 40 years with the city. Behind him is a bucket truck which he said is a great improvement over the laddrs he used when he started as a lineman.
