With the mid-winter break near, the Tipton R-VI School Board met for less than an hour before returning for closed session.
During the open session, Joe Stemberger was recognized for his winning Christmas card design by art teacher Ginny Bowers. He is a student in Junior Art 1. He was presented with several printed cards and a check for $50.
