Extensionettes Meet at Burgher Haus

There were seven members in attendance at the Nov.10 meeting of the Extenstionettes at the Burgher Haus restaurant. The members enjoyed a breakfast followed by the meeting called to order by the President Elizabeth Washburn. The minutes of the previous meeting were read and approved and dues collected by Lois Daniel. Nonperishable food products were brought for the food pantry to be delivered to the United Methodist church. Cards were signed for those members who were ill or hospitalized and unable to attend. Mary Dee Branch was welcomed back following her absence due to injuries sustained in a fall. It was discussed that the problem of falls is a growing concern of the group and taking preventive measures a high priority.

The next meeting will be the Christmas party at the home of May Kirchoff on Dec. 8, at 10 a.m. Members are to bring a white elephant gift to exchange and a donation for the club's contribution to the California Ministerial Alliance. This contribution will assist the Ministerial Alliance in its work of helping those in need this holiday season.
