The audience attending the performance at the Finke theatre Saturday night experienced a real treat. The Show-Me Showboaters put on a show to end all shows. Their so called "Not Quite Right Spaghetti Western" was the hit of the evening. Add to this songs old and new from the Show-Me Showboaters Chorus, The Pitch Pipes, High Street and New Design quartets and it was an event to remember. This performance was sponsored by California Construction Supplies.
The next show at the Finke will be on Dec. 5 as part of the Christmas California Style event. The Martin Family will be performing. The show includes Elvin (the dad) on bass, and Jeanna on fiddle; Dale who was the SPBGMA's 2009 Guitar Player of the year on guitar; Larita who won SPBGMA's "Dobro Performer of the Year" in 2007 and 2009 playing the dobro; and Janice winner of the SPMGMA's "Banjo Performer of the Year" in 2006, 2007 and 2009 on banjo, rounds out the Martin Family Band.
