MagazinePool To Close For Winter

Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 20-21, will be the last weekend for swimming at California's municipal swimming pool. The decision was made at a special meeting of the City of California Board of Aldermen.
According to City Clerk Brian Scrivner, the previous weekend, there were 17 swimmers. In the month of October, there were 54 swimmers, most of which were from a single pool party.
Plans are to reopen the pool in March.
