The Moniteau County Crime Watch set the next quarterly meeting in Jamestown. The decision was made by the Board of directors at its regular monthly meeting on Nov. 9 at the 911 Dispatch Center.
The meeting, tentatively set for 7 p.m. Jan. 1, 2011, at the Jamestown Community Building, will begin at 7 p.m. with a speaker invited to discuss rural crimes.
In other business, the Board discussed the rewards section of the organization's bylaws with consideration of how it can be effectively used. Consideration is being given to recruiting possible Crime Watch patrollers.
