'Deadly Ernest' presented at California High School Performing Arts Center

California High School students presented the play "Deadly Ernest" by Donald Payton April 15-16 at the California Performing Arts Center, after three months of rehearsal. Directed by CHS Theatre teacher and Drama Club Sponsor Tiffany Brown, the presentation was financed and produced by the CHS Drama Club.

In Act 1, Scene 2, sitting at the park pondering his next move, Henry Gilcrest (Alex Davis), at right, is joined by Mr. Bumpus (Dylan Romey), who offers up a shady deal he promises Henry will benefit from.
