The Russellville High School varsity golf team participated in the Southern Boone Classic Golf Tournament at Eagle Knoll Golf Course, Ashland, Wednesday, April 13, where a total of 16 teams competed.
"We had a tough day at Eagle Knoll," Russellville Coach David Volkart said. "Playing the ball down and playing from the blue tees made it extremely difficult, but I was proud of all of my kids for their effort."
Individually for Russellville, Jordan Russell finished with 95, followed by Devin Koestner with 115 and Kelsey Schrimpf with 118.
Next up for the Russellville golfers is the Show-Me Conference April 20.
