Following the egg hunt, participants gathered in the church fellowship hall for treats such as cupcakes and cookies, and had the opportunity to meet the Easter Bunny, who presented each child with a hand puppet.

"Despite the gloomy weather, I thought the Easter Egg Hunt was a big success," Event Coordinator Brenda Sells, Prairie Home, said. "We hada good turnout and veryone was in good spirits."

Each participant also received a Scholastic book of their choice.
