California Pintos start off season with jamboree

The California High School Pintos got the 2011 football season off to a start with the jamboree Frida, Aug. 19, at Sedalia, where they scrimmaged Smith-Cotton and Lexington.

New CHS Head Coach Marty Albertson said he was pleased with the Pintos' performance overall. "We played well and a lot of kids got game time. You always see things you need to improve on at the jamboree, but I also saw good things offensively and defensively."
