The California High School Pinto Quarterback Club hosted the annual barbecue fundraiser Sunday, Aug. 19, at the high school commons, where Pinto football fans and supporters feasted on port steak dinner and mingled with the Pinto football players and coaches.

The California High School Commons was the place to be for hungry Pinto football fans Sunday, Aug. 19, during the Pinto Quarterback Club's annual barbecue fundraiser.

Quarterback Club President Marty Ramsdell said, "It was a beautiful day for it. This is the main fundraiser for the football team, so it's nice to see such a great turnout. The proceeds from this barbecue help us purchase jerseys, weight equipment and practice equipment for the boys."

Ramsdell added with a grin, "What we would really like to see is a great turnout at the football games on Friday nights. The boys like to see people in the stands."
