The Prairie Home varsity softball team traveled to Harrisburg Thursday, Aug. 25, where the Lady Panthers suffered a tough 11-0 loss.
Katlynn Watson recorded the loss with two strikeouts. Taylor Zey and Watson led Prairie Home hits with a single each.
Harrisburg's Bobbie Matthews recoorded t he win with seven strikeouts.
"Katlyn struggled with control on the mound," Prairie Home Coach Kris Stodgel said. "Harrisburg hit a lot right to the gaps and we just couldn't get to the ball defensively. We had some hits, but unfortunately, their defense was there to make the out."
The Lady Panthers participated in the Tipton Tournament Saturday, where they lost a close contest to Bunceton, 5-4, followed by a 22-7 loss to Tuscumbia.
