A new director is in charge of St. Paul's Child Care Center. On Aug. 1, Diane Weicken took the director's position. She is a retired kindergarten teacher.
Associated with St. Paul's Lutheran Church, the child care center began about four and half years ago at 207 North Owen Street in California. Robyn Kleiboeker was the establishing director when the center began operation in the old church parsonage with less than a dozen children.
