Mo. hunter gets shot of white deer

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (AP) - A Missouri hunter recently found an albino deer while hunting near Lake of the Ozarks.

The Missouri Department of Conservation says Michael Utt of Sugar Creek spotted and photographed the all-white deer while hunting in mid-November.

The department says the photos were taken from a distance but it's clearly an all-white doe, and possibly a true albino with pink eyes.

The department says that while albino deer are rare, some are spotted each year in Missouri. At least two other cases were reported to the department during the recent firearms deer season.
