Grants received for patrol car video systems

At its regular monthly meeting on Monday, Dec. 5, the City of California Board of Aldermen was informed of the receipt of a grant of $8,991 for patrol car video systems by grant writer Beth Jungmeyer. The Local Law Enforcement Block Grant from the Missouri Department of public Safety provides video systems for two patrol vehicles.

Mayor Norris Gerhart, with the consent of the council, directed Jungmeyer to search for any grants which might be available for funding for the Hickory Hills - Temple Terrace water and sewer projects.
