BAHR
Carl W. Bahr, 69, of St. Louis, Mo., formerly of Jamestown, Mo., passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011 at Barnes Jewish Extended Care in St. Louis, Mo.
He was born on December 25, 1941 in Bonnots Mill, Mo., the son of Charles A. and Margaret A. (Brester) Bahr, both of whom preceded him in death.
He was a 1959 Jamestown High School graduate, as well as a graduate of barber college. He worked as an inventory department manager for Southwestern Bell for 25 years, and worked as a barber for 14 years, owning his own shop in the St. Louis area.
He is survived by one brother, John Bahr and wife Barbara of Jefferson City, Mo.; one niece, Gayla Welsh and husband Jeff, Camdenton, Mo.; and one great-nephew, Jackson Charles Welsh. He was preceded in death by two infant brothers.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services in California, Mo. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery in Jefferson City, Mo. Officiating will be Rev. Janet Deneke. Visitation will also be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

BORGMEYER
Raymond Henry Borgmeyer, 90, of Taos, Missouri, passed from this world to eternal peace on Tuesday, December 6, 2011, at Westphalia Hills, surrounded by his family.
He was born August 29, 1921, in Taos, a son of the late Bernard and Mary Borgmeyer. He was married October 22, 1946 at St. Cecilia Catholic Church, Meta, to Marie Koerber, who survives of the home. Ray and Marie recently celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary on October 22 at their granddaughter's wedding.
Ray was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church and the Holy Name Society. He was a Third Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus, and was a charter and honorary lifetime member of Taos Knights of Columbus Council 6430. He was involved in the purchase of Taos' first fire truck. He is a veteran of World War II where he served in the Navy as a Petty Officer 2nd class from 1942 through 1945. He was stationed in Guam during part of his tour.
He was employed with Tweedies Shoe Company for 25 years until it closed its doors in 1965. Ray bought his family homestead in 1954 and was a dairy and beef cattle farmer until his retirement. Ray was a wonderful neighbor and great friend. After a long day on the farm, Ray enjoyed listening to the Cardinals on the radio under the maple trees. He was an avid horseshoe pitcher and played at many county fairs and tournaments. His Life was his Family, his Farm and his Friends.
Ray is survived by his loving wife, Marie, and nine children. Six Daughters: Dee Thompson (Rich Lee), Reno, Nevada; Laurale (Greg) Gerling, Covington, Georgia; Carol (Phillip) Ortbals, Taos, Missouri; Germaine (Harry) Renn, Holts Summit, Missouri; Mona (Chris) Haller, Springfield, Missouri; Donna (Bob) Osterlund, Stillwell, Kansas. Three Sons: Albert (Donna) Borgmeyer, Taos, Missouri; Kenny (Debbie) Borgmeyer, Taos, Missouri; Dr. Roger (Peggy) Borgmeyer, California, Missouri. Nineteen grandchildren, three step-grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one step great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one grandson, Lucas Borgmeyer; four sisters: Walburga Thessen, Sister Bernard Marie Borgmeyer, Sister Felician Borgmeyer, Sister Raymond Borgmeyer; and five Brothers: Frank Borgmeyer, John Borgmeyer, Lambert Borgmeyer, Bill Borgmeyer and Joe Borgmeyer.
Mass of Christian Burial was at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, December 10, 2011, at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Taos, with Fr. Wayne M. Boyer officiating. Interment with full military honors was in the parish cemetery.

CORNINE
Wilma L. Cornine, 88, of Nelson, Mo., died Monday, December 5, 2011, at Fitzgibbon Hospital in Marshall.
Born November 8, 1923, in California, Mo., she was the daughter of the late James David Newkirk and Beulah Mae Allee Newkirk. On April 19, 1940, she married Sam Cornine who preceded her in death on June 24, 1993.
She had lived in Nelson since 1961 and was a retired nurses' aide at Marshall Habilitation Center where she worked for many years. She attended Heath Creek Baptist Church for many years.
Survivors include her children, Larry Cornine and wife Dorothy of Independence, Mo., Judi Underwood of Blue Springs, Mo., Sammy Cornine of Burlington, Kan., Gale Cornine and wife Alice of Nelson, Mo. and Ronnie Cornine and wife Debbie of Danbury, Iowa; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one brother, James Newkirk of Tipton, Mo.; three sisters, Norma Howlett of Oak Grove, Mo., Jody Blankenship of California, Mo., and Sue Nutt of Sedalia, Mo.; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, Steve Cornine and Brian Cornine; two granddaughters, Joy Raines and Amie Cornine; one brother, Charles Henry Newkirk; three sisters, Shirley Volkart, Margaret Roweder and Katie Watts; and two sons-in-law, Jim Barton and Russ Underwood.
Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2011, at Heath Creek Baptist Church, with Chris Harper, Minister officiating. Burial was in Heath Creek Cemetery.

FINGER
Edmundee Ethel Finger, 93, of Sedalia, Missouri passed away on December 10, 2011, at Sylvia Thompson Residence Center.
She was born January 26, 1918, in Russellville, Mo., to Herman Emil and Nona Ethel Wood Spring. She was married to John Finger on March 27, 1938, who preceded her in death in December, 1996.
She lived most of her adult life in the Tipton community. She was a member of the Community Baptist Church in Tipton. She worked at the Biltwell Pants Factory until her retirement. She loved to bake and decorate cakes, and enjoyed sewing.
Survivors include one son-David Finger of San Jose, Calif.; two sisters-Velma Marie Ciprian of Sedalia, and Eula Mae Ylagan of St. Louis; three granddaughters-Jennifer Walczak, Ashley Finger, and Lindsey Finger; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one son - John Stephen Finger and one sister and one infant brother.
Funeral services for Ms. Finger were held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at the Community Baptist Church in Tipton, with burial in the Salem United Church of Christ Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to the Community Baptist Church.
Services were under the direction of the Meisenheimer Funeral Home in Tipton.
