Financial issues dominate Mid-Mo Ambulance meeting

The Mid-Mo Ambulance District Board of Directors was informed at the regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, Dec. 14, of an underpayment of sales tax revenues to the district.
According to Administrator Lee Kempf, the Missouri Department of Revenue informed the district of an error in coding tax disbursements, resulted in ambulance district funds from vehicle purchases going to Morgan County. The estimate of money owed is $536,000 dating from 2007.
