The Tipton R-VI School Board met Monday, Dec. 12, at the Board of Education Office. Under recognition, elementary art teacher Mendy Smith recognized fourth grader Jana Harrison for designing the winning Christmas card this year. Board President Greg Miller presented her with several printed cards and a check for $50.
School Nurse Jane Burns reported on health services for the district as a part of the board's program evaluations.
