When the Reimler family moved from the Lupus area to the Jamestown area, they were neighbors of the Marshall family. At that time, various church functions and neighborhood activities brought members of nearly all of the local families into frequent contact. Card parties for the playing of Rook, Pitch and Pinochle were played were a common activity.
