The California Nutrition Center is not usually considered a place for romance to begin, but it does happen.
Patricia Hunt ONeal had been widowed for 15 years when she met Fred Lampman at a dance at the Nutrition Center. Lampman had been widowed for not quite two years.
ONeal went to a hospital to have some back pain checked out. While at the hospital, on April 1, of last year, she broke her ankle in three places. During the week she was in the hospital for her ankle, Lampman visited every day.
