The Jefferson City School District and Friends of the Boonville Public Library donated boxes of books and supplies for the Latham School Friday, Feb. 18. Sarah Rosslan, librarian and media specialist for Cedar Hill Elementary School, which is part of the Jefferson City Public School (JCPS) District said the JCPS Library Department (k-12) held book donation drives at the various schools for gently used paperback and hardback books and delivered approximately 100 boxes of books along with $300 raised by an elementary school in the JCPS district as part of its CharacterPlus service project. The Friends of the Boonville Public Library also donated 30 boxes of books as well.
