Cole County R-1 School Board Meets December 16

The Cole County R-1 School Board held its regular monthly meeting on Thursday, Dec. 16. The Board adopted the agenda. The administrators presented their reports and moved on to the consent agenda.

Under new business, the Board voted to approve the consent agenda as presented and a payroll fund transfer of $202,000.

The Board voted to approve the Vo-Ag/FFA program report as presented by Curtis Bowling and Lance Martin. The audit report for the 2009-2010 school year was presented and Cole County R-1 School District complied in all material respects following the state and federal guidelines. The Board approved the audit report and approved paying the MUSIC property insurance assessment for the 2011 calendar year.

The Board concluded the meeting by going into closed session to discuss personnel, but no action was taken.
