RORRER

Diania Delores Rorrer, 69, Independence, died Nov. 30, 2010 at her home.

She was born April 20, 1941 in Martinsville, Ind., daughter of Vesy and Juanita Garrison Davis. She was married Jan. 17, 1981 in Branson, to Clifford E. Rorrer Jr. who survives.

She is survived by three sons, Danny Kremer, Independence, Terry Kremer, Belton, Clifford E. Rorrer III, Sibley; one daughter, Joann Hotter, Independence; one brother Jake Sanders, Kansas City; one sister, Carrie Johnson Kansas City; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Dec. 4, at 1 p.m. at the Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California. Burial was in California City Cemetery.

Kiley Pine celebrates her birthday with Heather Cavanaugh

Theodore Edward Albertin, age 84, of Atlanta, Ill., died Friday, December 3, 2010 at St. John's Hospital in Springfield, Ill.

He was born on May 21, 1926 in California, Mo., the son of Theodore H. and Lydia Baade Albertin.

After high school, Mr. Albertin served in the WWII Army Medical Corps until November 1946. Upon his return to Missouri from the South Pacific, he married Jewelada "Judy" Rickman on November 16, 1946; she preceded him in death on August 31, 2009.

He received his Bachelor and Masters Degrees from the University of Missouri, and taught vocational agriculture at Ashland, and Kahoka, Missouri. He received a Specialist Degree in School Administration from Western Illinois University, Macomb Ill., and beginning in 1965 served his remaining educational career as a high school principal at Augusta, Bluffs, and Pleasant Plains, Illinois.

At the time of his death he was a member of the Lincoln St. John's United Church of Christ. He was a former member of the Missouri and Illinois Education Associations and the Illinois Principals Association.

He was also preceded in death by his parents; one son, Scott; and three sisters, Anna Cook and Frieda McKee both of California, Mo., and Lydia Reischauer of St. Louis, Mo.

He is survived by two sons, Marc (wife, Jeanne), and Anthony "Tony" both of Atlanta, Ill.; one sister Emma (husband, Cliff) Wrenfrow of Thayer, Mo.; two grandchildren, Trenton Albertin and Tara Shane; and four great granddaughters.

Cremation will be accorded by Springfield Crematory.

There will be a Memorial services at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Ellinger-Kunz & Park Funeral Home, 530 N. 5th St., Springfield, Ill., with Reverend Richard W. Reinwald officiating.

Burial will be on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. in Immanuel Cemetery, California, Mo.
