The California Middle School eighth grade boys basketball team ultimately defeated three opponents to capture the championship of the 34th Eldon Basketball Tournament last week.
The Pintos defeated Waynessville's 'B' team 51-17 Jan 17, where a total of 11 California players contributed. The Pintos then defeated Warsaw 57-36 Friday.
