Annual Women in Agriculture conference to be held in Boonville

The 17th Annual Women in Agriculture will be hosted by the Central Missouri Committee and will be held in Boonville. The Conference dates are Sept. 12-14 and will be held at the Isle of Capri Hotel. Highlights this year is a tour of Warm Springs Ranch, Home of the Budweiser Clydesdale horses, and the Starr Pines Christmas Tree Ranch with lunch in Arrow Rock on Sept. 13. Monday will consist of Registration and workshops with an opening session featuring Charlie Hopper, Marketing Specialist for Agribusiness Dev with the Missouri Department of Agriculture. The banquet on Monday night will feature guest speaker former senator Jean Carnahan. The conference will end on Wednesday with breakfast, workshops and a closing luncheon featuring Teresa Snow, Anchor of KRCG news.

There will also be a Silent Auction and a Hospitality Room on Monday and Tuesay nights. A special addition to the conference is an opportunity to see "Always . . Pasty Cline" at the Lyceum Theater on either Sunday or Wednesday afternoon.

This year's conference looks to be fun and exciting along with learning some valuable information along the way. There are special room rates at the Isle of Capri if reserved by Aug. 15.
