The Cole County R-1 School Board held its regular monthly meeting on Tuesday, June 14. The Board adopted the agenda and the administrators presented their reports.
Under new business, the Board voted to approve the consent agenda as presented. The Board approved a payroll fund transfer of $202,000.
The Board approved allowing the staff to donate sick leave days to other staff members who may not have enough to cover the time away from work; board policy GCBDA and JHCF were approved modifying the personal leave usage. The Board approved increasing the school meals by 10 cents; the 2011-12 budget and salary schedules; and amended the 2010-11 budget.
In closed session, the Board voted to accept a letter of resignation from Inge Gauck. The Board voted to employ Richard Pace as a special services teacher.
The July Board meeting will be Thursday, July 21, at 7 p.m.
