New additions to California Rural

There are two recent additions to the fleet of fire fighting vehicles of California Rural Fire Protection District (CRFPD).

The newest vehicle of the CRFPD is a 2009 Ford F550 4X4. Special equipment on this truck includes front-mounted "turret gun" spray nozzle, a 400-gallon water tank, a 23-hp Darley pump, an auxiliary foam tank and a 12,000 pound winch. The "turret gun" can be controlled from inside the cab.

This truck was purchased with funds made available through FEMA's Assistance to Firefighter Grant.
