Lake Area Community Orchestra to play at Jefferson City First Christian Church

The Lake Area Community Orchestra will again be staging one of its free summer concerts at First Christian Church, Jefferson City, located on East Capitol Street. The event will be Tuesday, July 19, at 7 p.m. Community members and visitors are cordially invited.
The 49 participants of the orchestra range in age from high school to the 70's and come from many communities surrounding the Lake of the Ozarks including Jefferson City, Holts Summit, Russellville and California.
The concert is entertaining to young and old alike and includes a variety of musical selections like "Fanfare for the Common Man," "A Walk in the Morning Sun," "A Crazy Mixed Up Opera," "American Visions," "Blue Tango," "Mancini Magic," "Silent Stands the Elm," and "That Old Hound Dog Rag."
