St. Paul's Lutheran hosts Vacation Bible School

St. Paul's Lutheran Church, California, hosted vacation bible school July 11-15 where a total of 31 youth in preschool through fifth grade participated in a "Big Jungle Adventure - A Faith Journey with Jesus," the theme for the 2011 VBS.

The theme for St. Paul Lutheran's 2011 Vacation Bible School, held July 11-15, was "Big Jungle Adventure - A Faith Journey with Jesus."

Eachh day of VBS participants made a craft in crafts class, learned songs in music class and played games and enjoyed snacks. The festivities were concluded each evening with devotion directed by Pastor Pete Kurowski.

While VBS participants made a variety of crafts, above, throughout the week of July 11-15 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, California, the most popular proved to be frames the children decorated for a class picture each received that was taken at the vacation bible school.

On the last night, Friday, dinner was provided before bible school and the children received grab bags that contained jungle-themed items.
