After a week-long stay, the Mid-Missouri Mission Team (a.k.a. the 3MT Lifechangers) finished volunteer work consisting of painting and repairing area homes of those in need in California and surrounding towns Friday, July 22.

The group of approximately 250 missionaries, primarily consisting of teens and some adult leaders, braved temperatures of up to 100 degrees throughout the week July 16-23 to complete volunteer work at job sites in California, and surrounding areas including Jefferson City, McGirk, Clarksburg, Latham, Tipton, Versailles, Otterville and Fortuna.

Area host churches coordinated the job sites for the work crews and provided supplies such as ladders, as well as lunch for the volunteers.
