A Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) crew made temporary repairs to Business Highway 50 through California Wednesday, July 20.

The crews were busy following a series of pavement "blowups" by grinding off heaves in the pavement.

Traffic was restricted to one-way and directed around the workers while they assessed the problem and used a grinder to shave the pavement more or less level.
