California Municipal Swimming Pool offers cool swims

For young and old seeking relief from the heat, the California municipal swimming pool is available for relief from the summer heat seven days a week.

For a fee of only $1, swimmers may enjoy the cooling effects of the indoor and outdoor swimming pools on Stella Street each day from 1 to 7 p.m. Lifeguards are on duty and there is a snackbar.

Current plans are for the pool to remain open daily until Aug. 14.
