• Hazard Mitigation Plan update third session for Moniteau County will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, June 2, at Centennial Hall at the Moniteau County Fairgrounds. This is an open meeting with anyone welcome to attend and contribute. Tornados, hailstorms and windstorms are the main topics for this session.

• Annunciation Catholic Church Annual Picnic, 11 a.m. - 7 p.m., Sunday, June 5, at the church parish hall. Cost is $9 adults; children 5-12 $4.50; children under 5 are free.

• Wood Place Public Library Summer Reading Program, 6:30 p.m. Every Thursday from May 26 - Aug. 11. Storytimes, crafts and fun activities. All programs are open to the public and free of charge.
