On Wednesday, June 1, the Quilters of California United Church of Christ completed their last quilt.
Betty Dummermuth, Margaret Oesterly, Carole Bowlin and Maxine Bueker are the only quilters left of a larger group which once worked on two quilts at a time.
The current group is uncertain how long the quilters have been meeting, only knowing it was "a great many years." The number of participants have been dwindling over the last few years.
