Area churches sponsored a CROP Hunger Walk Sunday at Proctor Park, where approximately 60 people of all ages turned out to "walk" in the fight against hunger.

CROP Hunger Walks are neighbors walking together to take a stand against hunger. Prior to the event, each participant collects sponsors who give a monetary donation of their choice.
