The third meeting for the five-year update of the Moniteau County Hazard Mitigation Plan drew about 30 participants. The group met Wednesday, June 15, at Centennial Hall. Representtives were present from many Moniteau County entities.
Susan Galeota of the Mid Missouri Regional Planning Commission (MMRPC) led the discussion and review of parts of the mitigation plan currently in effect on the subjects of drought, extreme heat and wildfire.
