High Point R-III School held its Summer School program from May 31- June 13. Grades involved were pre-kindergarten through eighth grade. The enrollment was 45 students, down from 49 students the previous year.
High Point teacher Terre Chambers was the summer school director and said she felt the summer school went very well. The theme was "One World, Many Stories" which is a theme public libraries are also using for their summer reading programs.
