Cole R-I School District held its Summer School program from June 6-17. Grades involved were the elementary (K-5th grade), middle school (6th-8th grade) and high school credit recovery. The enrollment, 150 students, was up from last year with a larger number of elementary students.
Elementary Principal Karen Ponder was the summer school director and said the summer school went well with the elementary focus being on reading and math, middle school and high school focus on remediation for core subjects.
