Moniteau County 4-H Achievement Day Held at Wood Place Public Library

Members of Tipton, Moniteau County, Jamestown, Clarksburg, California Twin City and Show-Me 4-H clubs came together at Wood Place Public Library for the Moniteau County 4-H Achievement Day where they gave presentations to qualify for the state speaking and state fair demonstration contests.

The following ribbons were given at the Moniteau County Achievement Day held Sunday, June 12 at Wood Place Public Library, California, by MaryAnn Patten, Moniteau County Youth Specialist:

Power Point Presentations; Donell Kleibocker - Blue (John Deere Tractors); Dallas Kleibocker- Blue (Offensive Football Formations); Jackson Kleibocker - Blue ( Gettysburg). All 3 boys are ellible to participate in the State 4-H Speech Contest in Columbia this fall.

Demonstration Presentations; John Anderson - Blue (Cheesy Sausage Stomboli); Mitchell Moon - Blue (Knot too Hard) Fishing; Mitchell Moon 2nd Speech - Red (Woodn't You Know); Courtney Matthews - Red (Cake decorating); Alli Watts - Blue (Foods); Cara Scheperle - Blue (How to Make a Simple Scrapbook).

All participants receiving blue ribbons are elligible to give their presentations at the Missouri State Fair in August.

Tipton 4-H members Anna Thibon, Jessica and Sarah Bishop manned the registration table. Judging Stations were provided by the Anderson Family. 4-H Members that participated in the"Move Across America" exercise program Co Sposored by the University Extension Office and the Missouri Beef Couscil were also recognized for the minutes they exerciesed through out the past school year.
