Latham School starts a new chapter

The 60 Latham R-V students moved into four temporary mobile classrooms Monday, Feb. 28, "Starting a New Chapter" according to a bulletin board in the fifth and sixth grade classroom of teacher Diann Lawson.

The main school building burned in December just before the Christmas break. Operating in the Pilot Grove Baptist Church facility until the mobile classrooms were in place and modified for the needs of the students, school has continued.
