MagazineCalifornia Pintos end season with loss to Eugene Eagles

After two hard-fought battles at the Class 3 District 10 Basketball Tournament at Cole Camp last week, including a 70-46 victory against Skyline, the California Pintos, seeded second, ended their season with a 61-52 semifinal loss to Eugene Thursday to end the season 16-8.
The Eagles, seeded third, led 15-11 after the first quarter, however, the Pintos had pulled ahead 22-20 at the half. Eugene came out stronger in the second half to outscore California 16-11 and 25-19 to take the win.
