The community will have a special opportunity Saturday to help support the Moniteau County Historical Society at its fundraiser chili supper to be held at the California Nutrition Center. Serving will begin at 5 p.m. and the menu will consist of chili, hot dogs, veggies, beverage and a delightful array of desserts. Tickets which are available at the door are $6 for adults and $3 for children 10 years of age or younger.
Chair person Nancy Martin has stated this fundraiser aides the Society as it seeks to preserve and maintain the valuable history of Moniteau County at the same time enjoying the fellowship of friends and neighbors while sharing a meal of homemade satisfying chili.
