Route E Bridge over Dry Fork Creek in Moniteau County Now Open

A bridge replacement project on Route E over Dry Fork Creek in Moniteau County is now complete. The bridge is located approximately one mile south of Route 50. The bridge opened to traffic on Thursday, May 5.

Work began on April 4 and the bridge was closed to traffic during construction. MoDOT extends its thanks to motorists for their patience while the work was underway.

The bridge replacement is part of MoDOT's Safe & Sound Bridge Improvement Program, which will improve 800 of Missouri's worst bridges in five years - by the end of 2013. Ninety bridges will be replaced or repaired in the mid-Missouri area as a part of this program. Currently, over 365 of the bridges included in the program have been improved statewide.
