Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday

Daylight Saving Time ends Sunday, Nov. 6, at 2 a.m. Don't forget to set your clocks back one hour on Saturday and catch that extra hour of sleep.

Because of the Energy Policy Act of 2005, Day Light Saving begins the second Sunday in March when clocks are turned forward an hour and ends the first Sunday in November when clocks are set back an hour.

According to several sources, Daylight Saving Time is not observed in Arizona, Hawaii and some U.S. territories.

It is also a good time to change batteries in smoke detectors and carbon monoxide detectors when changing the time on clocks in the home or office.
